In her day job, Angela analyzes, researches, and develops initiatives to tackle the complex challenges facing our community. Her experience on the Board of Health for Weber and Morgan counties has given her a deep understanding of the public health issues that affect families. She believes that the key to improving community health lies in addressing root causes, rather than waiting to respond to costly and harmful outcomes. Throughout her career, Angela has worked to reduce disparities in education and healthcare—disparities that often stem from where a person is born, lives, works, and plays. While these challenges are deeply rooted, Angela is committed to reshaping the future by ensuring that every aspect of a community supports its residents' ability to thrive.
